Just finished the last Beethoven Concerto tonight at Royal Albert Hall. It was three amazing nights experience of doing 5 concerti by the great Beethoven. I want to take a deep gratitude to the wonderful Philharmonia orchestra and Maestro Salonen for their heartfelt music making. Thanks to the wonderful audience for 3 nights of passionate support.
I'm so sad to hear about the Tsunami and terrible earthquake in Sendai. I went there for a competition when I was 13-year-old, it was a very bearutiful city. Hope people will stay strong to face the natural disaster together, we are with you!
This World Cup is so strange: France and Italy are both out. Slovakia is in...I'm happy that Spain made it tonight and the Americans did a good job. Sad for the Swiss team as I just arrived there, veryone is a bit down here in the street:-( Next big game for me to watch is England vs. Germany
The Shanghai World Expo is approaching, believe or not, the grand opening is just in 20 days!
Even I'm in Chicago now, I can still clearly feel at the atmosphere and feel so excited.
As an ambassador of the Shanghai World Expo, I'd like to extend an invitation to everybody around the world to join the Expo.
Hope to see you in Shanghai in 20 days. Cheers!
Greetings from Chicago:)
I have just arrived at Munich from Warsaw, still submerged in Chopin's beautiful music.
Yesterday, I was shocked to hear about the devastating earthquake in Haiti that killed thousands and left many many people trapped in the rubble, still waiting for rescues.
Nice to act for music 3D film, my hands came out from the TV screen:) It's really fun!
And really great honor to play for Chopin 200 Year Opening Gala concert tonight in Warsaw. So exciting! President of Poland came and made standing ovation for me. I was very moved by that.
