Just finished the last Beethoven Concerto tonight at Royal Albert Hall. It was three amazing nights experience of doing 5 concerti by the great Beethoven. Moment of silence for the victims of Haiti; Pray for the people in affected region
I have just arrived at Munich from Warsaw, still submerged in Chopin's beautiful music.
Yesterday, I was shocked to hear about the devastating earthquake in Haiti that killed thousands and left many many people trapped in the rubble, still waiting for rescues.

New Blog From Lang Lang
My whole body was on fire tonight when I performed for the 60th anniversary of motherland's birthday. I felt even more proud when I witness the grand, spectacular Tiananmen Square. I hope my music will bring more glory to my motherland and look forward to sending my blessings again with my performance when the 100th anniversary of founding of motherland comes.

Rome
At the moment, I am in the beautiful city of Rome, Italy. I am working with Cecilia Bartoli (what an amazing voice!) and playing chamber music here. I especially love sightseeing in the city here – it’s like magic!

Rubbing Shoulders in D.C.
I flew out to Washington, D.C. last week for a Memorial Day concert with PBS. Katharine McPhee and the National Symphony Orchestra also performed. I had an amazing time! I ran into some celebrities like Tom Cruise and his lovely wife, Katie Holmes. I even got to meet General Colin Powell!

Performance at the Olympics Opening Ceremony
I was given the honor to perform a beautiful piece of music by Xiaogang Ye at the Olympic opening ceremony yesterday. Being apart of the young generation in China, it is especially an honor for me to perform at the opening ceremony because it is a symbol of how China is changing. In this new generation, we are enjoying a very different way of life from our parents. We love Western culture and classical music but we also have strong and sturdy Chinese traditions.

My Trip to England
Yesterday I was very excited to fly from Germany on a private jet to come to Liverpool England and play on the Royal Variety Show. I met many interesting people back stape at the Empire Theater including Bon Jovi, Seal, Jame Blunt and Joan Rivers. The most important thing was to play in front of Her Majesty, the Queen of England and Prince Philip. The Queen thanked me for coming all the way to England and the Prince said how amazing that my fingers are still there after playing such a fast piece!

Visiting Dubai
I went to Dubai and loved it. It has an exotic middle east look but also a modern NY look. The city is edgy and fantasy land like. I had an amazing tour of the desert safari. It was like a roller coaster ride. I also skiied in an indor resort which was wild! I even rode a camel, ate arabic BBQ and did a belly dance in the middle of the desert.

Moving to New York
I'm so excited to move to New York. Finally I've found a wonderful apartment. The reason I'm so excited is to be somewhere that I have so many friends. It will be so great to have a home base and not be in a hotel room. I'm going to focus on spending more days and nights in New York to make it my home.
