Lang Lang was the soloist at the New York Philharmonic’s Fall Gala, he performed Beethoven’s second piano concerto on his Steinway Black Diamond with the philharmonic under the baton of maestro Jaap Van Zweden on October 7th, 2019.
A gala dinner followed the concert, attended by the likes of Bradley Cooper, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, Joshua Bell and John Paulson. The evening and its co-chairs helped to raise $3.7 million which will go directly to the philharmonic.
