Lang Lang receives the Opus Klassik award

Lang Lang receives the Opus Klassik award for “Video clip of the year” for the music video “Für Elise” from his new album “Piano Book”. He expressed his appreciation for the support and the increasing importance of the use of music videos in inspiring more people to listen to and play classical music.

The Opus Klassik award is the successor to the retired Echo award for classical music in Germany. This is Lang Lang’s 11th time receiving the award for which he was the recipient across several categories in the past, including instrumentalist of the year, concerto recording, chamber music recording, and bestselling album.
